Automated Voice-to-Text : Your First Audio File Converted For Free
Want to give it a try? Your first audio recording will be converted to text for free (maximum one hour of audio). Just share your audio with us via your favourite cloud storage platform (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Mega etc) and we will process your audio and return you the text.
Some tips for getting the best quality transcript:
- Give us a list of commonly used, specific words related to your audio. E.g company or product names, uncommon words, unusually spelt names, etc.
- Make sure you record in a quiet location, minimal to no background noise, use a good quality voice recorder (we can help with that) or record using microphones into separate channels
- Ensure the speakers can be clearly heard in the recording, usually just adjusting the location of the voice recorder to a central location with all speakers talking over or towards the recorder works best
- High-quality audio recording, don’t dumb down the recording bitrate to reduce the file size, bump up the to the highest audio recording quality
To Set Expectations
There will be mistakes, no transcription if perfect even human transcribed, but the mistakes will be minimal and you won’t have to spend hours (or pay someone to spend hours) converting your audio to text. You will still need to proofread the text of your audio and apply any formatting you may need. We will provide you with a text file of your audio, will attempt to identify each individual speaker and flag them with the spk_n (which can be globally changed when you are proofing) and time code when there is a change of speaker and/or paragraph. Below is an example of the text that will be provided:
